Lil Nas X responds to Pastor Troy hate speech: I look good

He went to Twitter to say that he likes his look despite the backlash he’s received.

ATLANTA — Lil Nas X is clapping back at the hate speech that was thrown at him by Atlanta rapper Pastor Troy. Nas X went to Twitter to say that he likes his look despite the backlash he’s received.

“Damn I look good in that pic on god,” Nax X said in response to a user who shared a screenshot of Pastor Troy’s Instagram.

“Pastor Troy went on a long, homophobic rant and somehow convinced himself that it’s the reason why he doesn’t have a Grammy,” user @yoyotrav wrote.

The “Old Town Road” star was the subject of a homophobic rant on Troy’s Instagram page on Tuesday. Troy, who emerged on the rap scene more than 20 years ago, went to social media to express his distaste for the “Old Town Road” star’s recent win at the Grammys.

The message then turned even more troubling when the rapper revealed that he praised his son for not wanting to go to Applebee’s after seeing two men who appeared to be on a date.

He sees it...their agenda to take the masculinity from Men, Black Men Especially. Some may say, “He Making Money!!” Rupaul do too, but I ain’t bumping his CD!!! Integrity is Priceless,” Troy wrote.

His comments received a mixed reaction of both praise and criticism.
