Meet Fuzz & Flora: Gwinnett Animal Welfare's pets of the week

Both Fuzz and Flora are available for free adoption this week.

GWINNETT, Ga. — Fuzz is a two-year-old domestic short hair that is considered a 'special needs kitty'. Fuzz is completely blind, so the shelter staff says she is a little timid around loud noises and sudden movements.

"Fuzz would do best in a quiet home where he is the only cat since he is cautious around loud noises or movement," says Miller.

Miller says Fuzz does like to play-bite, but she just loves getting his belly rubbed.

Flora is a seven-year-old mixed breed and has been at the shelter since March of 2019. She is known for leaning and sitting with people. She loves smiling and getting attention.

Miller says she would do best a home without small children because she does like to jump.

"You would never know she is seven years old because of the way she acts...she's always got a smile on her face and happy to see us."
