Children's Healthcare of Atlanta listed among best children's hospitals in nation

The new ranking comes from US News and World Report and provides rankings in multiple specialties

ATLANTA — According to a new ranking from US News and World Report, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is ranked among the top pediatric hospitals in the nation.

The newly-released 2019-2020 ranking says that Children's has five specialties listed in the top 10 and two others listed in the top 20:

  • Nephrology #5
  • Gastroenterology and GI Surgery #5
  • Orthopedics #6
  • Aflac Cancer Center #8
  • Urology #10
  • Pulmonology and Lung Surgery #19
  • Neurology and Neurosurgery #19

The new report ranks hospitals for excellence in outcomes, program structures and national reputation in 10 pediatric specialties -- with the survey questions created and refined by experts in each field.
